            Dewey Oeleis

            Homedale - Graveside services for Dewey G. Oeleis, 71, Homedale, who died Sunday after an illness, will be conducted at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. Thursday under the direction of Homedale's Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Elder Tex Poppino of Homedale will officiate.

            Mr. Oeleis was born April 14, 1901 in Great Falls, Mont., and was reared there. He moved to the Wilder area in 1929 and worked in farming. He married Hazel E. Hawkins May 5, 1940 in Greenleaf, and they lived in the Fargo community from 1952 until he retired. They moved to Homedale in 1967.

            Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Tommy Oeleis of Wilder, Dewey Oeleis of Homedale, and Donald Oeleis of Smelterville, Idaho; three daughter, Alma, Amy and Mary Oeleis, all at home; two brothers, Floyd Oeleis of Great Falls, and Archie Oeleis in Oregon; two sisters, Grace Sather and Ruby Wheeler, both in California; and four grandchildren.

            Hazel Oeleis

            Graveside services for Hazel L. Oeleis, 67, of Caldwell, and formerly of Homedale, who died Sunday, Oct. 29, 1989, at a Caldwell nursing home, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
