Jack Galemore was born January 24, 1921 in Humboldt, Kansas and married Alma C. V. Canady on January 24, 1942. He died June 09, 1995 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Alma C.V. Galemore

South Hutchinson - Alma C.V. Galemore, 85, died Aug. 4, 2005, at Mennonite Manor, South Hutchinson.   

She was born Aug. 21, 1919, at La Harpe, the daughter of Pierce and Eva Maudie Caler Canady. A longtime South Hutchinson resident, she was a homemaker.

She belonged to Bible Baptist Church, Hutchinson.

On Jan. 24, 1942, she married Sylvester "Jack" Galemore at Iola. He died June 9, 1995.

Survivors include: two sons, Jerry and his wife, Lynda, South Hutchinson, and Jim and his wife, Sandy, Austin, Texas; a daughter, Eva Maudie Williams, Osawatomie; two sisters, Judy Dryden, Sanger, Texas, and Pauline Murrow, South Hutchinson; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie I. Canady and an infant brother, Charles; three sisters, Mary Poe, Eva Blevins and Ella Hopkins; and a grandson, Lee Williams.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bible Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with Pastor Mike Simmons presiding. Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday in Kerns Cemetery, Humboldt. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

            Memorials may be sent to Hospice Care of Kansas or Bible Baptist Church, both in care of the funeral home.
